Reflections: As mentioned in other posts, Dr. Wieland has a variety of leadership skills. Two that seemed to stand out during this celebration were his Moral Purpose (Michael Fullan) and his ability to get all of his staff involved in furthering the vision the has been built. As you can see from the notes, many of the church leaders had an opportunity to present what was happening in their area and illicit feedback from church goers. Dr. Wieland, has a Moral Purpose that is different from some other leaders as he does all things with a GOD perspective. Well, knowing him, he would probably be humble and honest and say that he hopes to. :-). I feel as a leader, that I should do the same, but also realize that I am not perfect and sometimes have to be placed in a tough situation to eventually make it a better one.
